Chapter 2: Weddings in the news

Hello all, I have just been researching some wedding news, I have came across a rather amusing article from the BBC. It is about a wedding that didn't go quite according to plan. An hour before the ceremony of this wedding, the wedding party were having their pre-wedding photos on a small jetty. Suddenly the jetty collapses with the entire wedding party still on it, the Bride and Groom were soaked and so were most of the wedding party, only two very lucky bridesmaids managed to escape getting wet, although this mishap happened just an hour before the wedding everyone involved in the incident managed to dry themselves off and the wedding went ahead as planned. 

Another article that I have read today has come from Buzzfeed, it is about a couple who wanted to get married in a forest but upon their arrival, they were greeted by a group of firefighters who told the couple that there is a fire coming close to the location. Because this place was so special to the Bride and Groom, they decided to risk it by rushing through their vows and getting out of there. But the results of this were incredible! Their wedding photos truly are one of a kind, the smoke in the background made a beautiful scene for the couple who couldn't have been happier with the turn out of their photos.
