Chapter 14: Disney Wedding Dresses

Hello again readers,
Today I would like to write about Disney wedding dresses in honour of the new release of the 2015 Disney Princess inspired wedding dress collection from one of my favourite wedding dress designers, Alfred Angelo. His collection is just beautiful! If you are interested in seeing his Disney designs, here's the link: http://www.alfredangelobridal.co.uk/Disney/
For those of you who don't know, I am a major Disney fan and having there be a designer that interprets Disney Princess dresses into wedding gowns, I couldn't think of anything better!
So here we go!

1. Cinderella:
This dress is very classic to the time that the film was released in and even though it's simple, it's enough to be elegant.

2. Ariel:
This dress is fully fitted out with the puffed shoulders and long sleeves suit her well.

3. Jasmine:
This is so elegant and stunning! I love the idea of the flowers with the veil.

4. Tiana:
This dress is lovely with a sweeping train and small straps which are perfect for the summer.

5. Rapunzel:
This dress has lovely detail as does the veil, a perfectly royal ensemble.

If you compare these to the Alfred Angelo dresses then we can see how the designs are made to reflect the Princesses characteristics:

1. Cinderella:
From this design, you can see what the designer was trying to create, something simple yet royal and soft just like Cinderella and it has the big skirt just like you can see in the Disney original film. The pale blue resembles the blue dress that Cinderella wears to the ball and this dress is also available to purchase in white.

2. Ariel:
In this design, Ariel's character is shown through the colour and fit of the dress. The dress is designed perfectly for a beach wedding, using the colour blue, it represents the colour of the sea and the fit of the dress is literally called a Mermaid dress. This design is also available in white for a more traditional look.

3. Jasmine:
This design is fit for Arabian royalty with it's gorgeously rich purple colour and long detachable train. The detailing on the bodice of gemstones are perfect and will twinkle in the starlight. But if purple isn't the colour for you then it is also available in white.

4. Tiana:
This gown is beautifully similar to the real Disney deal, especially in a light and subtle green, it is the perfect dress to any Princess and the Frog fan, and it is also available in white which keeps the dress traditional, timeless and elegant.

5. Rapunzel:
Last but certainly not least, is the Rapunzel gown. It is the perfect match to Rapunzel with the flower detailing on the dress and with the long flowing material that forms a stunning train, it is certainly fit for a Princess. This is in a light lavender colour which reflects the dress that Rapunzel wears for most of the film in a more elegant and subtle way. This is also available in white.

That's all for this week, I hope that you have enjoyed the post, let me know either on here or on my Facebook page and until next week,

The Aspiring Wedding Planner
